HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Gujuan Smith is a U.S. Navy Veteran. He began his military career as an engineer, but after 5 years in the military he was persuaded to start a career as a culinary art specialist. The military provided him with Culinary Arts education which prepared him for his cooking career. For the first two years as a cook for the U.S Navy, Gujaun cooked for the crew. Due to the quality and taste of his food, he quickly moved up to cooking for the officers of the ship. As a cook, Gujuan became a Watch Captain of the kitchen, overseeing the daily operations including the prepping, cooking, and serving of the food. As well as the clean-up of the kitchen.
